SYNOPSIS
Driven by a fragile cause and haunted by the pain of lingering memories, Vera carries out her mission in a state of constant conflict.
Trapped in a situation beyond her control and uncertain of the very reason she holds her blade, she has no choice but to push forward. Whether they are human or machine, those who stand in her way are indistinguishable because the moment she stops, the mission ends.
You must break through this reality in Vera's stead. In this world, hesitation is a luxury you cannot afford.
GAMEPLAY
SADO utilizes a side-view perspective
to ensure the player can precisely perceive the opponent's attack motions, distance, and timing.
Rather than repetitive button-mashing,
the combat is centered around reading the enemy’s movements—daring to lower your guard
when necessary to seize that one perfect window of opportunity.
Our goal is to deliver the pure thrill of overwhelming an opponent through precise observation and a single,
decisive strike.
PROCESS
SADO is a side-scrolling action RPG built on hand-drawn art and meticulously designed animations.
Rather than focusing on flashy effects for quick consumption, we prioritize the density between every frame.
Every character movement, attack timing, and even the pauses and negative spaces are
intentionally crafted with a keen sense of detail.
As every element is handcrafted, we are steadily building our foundation of motions piece by piece.
As this accumulation grows, the fluidity and quality of our animations will only deepen.
